Throughout 2024-25, all NEOS libraries introduced a new way for students, faculty, and staff to search and find library resources. Our shared catalogue is being decommissioned as partner libraries leave in stages.

This webpage is a work in progress as NEOS Libraries migrate, introduce their new catalogues, and create processes for placing requests to borrow their items. 

If an item is available in another library's catalogue you have two options:

• Interlibrary Loan: 

  • • Available on Worldcat? click the button "Request Item from another Library" to fill out the ILL form. Note that most of the field auto-populate, just confirm your account information (especially email) and select a date several weeks in the future.  Please give staff at least 3 business days.

    • Other catalogues? request the item by sending a detailed email to Vanguard Library staff. The item will be borrowed from the owning library and made available at the Vanguard desk. Please give staff at least 5 business days. 

• NEOS borrower: visit the library that owns the item in person, set up a reciprocal account at that library, and borrow directly from the owning library. Please return the item to the owning library you borrowed it from.
